Hi I'm Frank, I'm a 1yr old mini black/tan smooth haired dachshund.   I'm very afraid of new things and need socialization, patience, consistancy and love.  with all these new things and methods of training my foster mom is confident that I will become a more confident outgoing dog in no  time.  I would like a home with no kids as I'm very fearful and would be considered a fear biter.  A home that understands the breed a must  and to understand I do not need sympathy I need structure.  I'm only a year old and still have lots of time to become the awesome dog I was meant to be.  If you think you could help me be the dog I should be and give me what I need please fill out an app. or send an e-mail for more info.  I'm tremendously cute.

update on Frank : I'm am coming along well , I'm coming out now and becoming more and more social every day, I get along with the other foster dogs,  and am doing much better with the people too.

update # 2:  I've changed considerably in the last few weeks, I follow my foster home girl all over the place and love her dearly , I"m learning to get along with other dogs and learning to play and socialize with people I don't know.  I'm definately ready for a new home that can continue my education.

Hi my name is Hunter, I am a red smooth haired tweenie,  I am a very loveable happy , social boy who just loves attention.  I'm  a bit overweight and my foster mom has put me on a diet, "darn" I have no problems with my weight not sure what she is saying.  I would love a home where someone is home to spend time with me, I 'm good with kids, love teanagers, basically I have no problems with anyone.  I'm 6yrs old and have lots and lots of love to give.

Myra Bossy Pants is a little sassy but insecure red Dachshund who loves to sit on a lap.

Myra’ is a 3 yr. old spayed female Dachshund. She is microchipped, vaccinated and has had a dental. She is a little bossy pants … but that is just being true to her nature and breed. She needs a home where she will get proper guidance with a gentle but firm voice. Myra thinks cats are vermin .... so NO Cats!Now that Myya has her new mohair sweater for the winter cold , life is okay!

She would love to have a warm home to call her own and another warm body to snuggle with!!

Sir Reginold aka Reggie the Wedgie is a love machine disguised as a Dachshund. He is a 3 yr old male Dachshund.

He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.He is very cute who loves his walks. Once he has his little coat on, he is ready for that sprint down the street! He will do great with another canine friend. He gets along well with other dogs but he also thinks cats are the scourge of the earth. So no cats.

I am Ingrid I am a beautiful red smooth 7yr old standard female I am spayed , up to date on vacc. and have had my teeth cleaned on a reg. basis. I used to be a breeder dogs until my human died in Aug. /o8. Because I was used as a breeder dog I am only accostomed to kennel living and have not been house trained , I am only comfortable with other dogs around as I am quite timid and spook easy therefore can only go to a multi dog family, I am however extremely good natured, I don't growl, snap or bark I am used to kids and cats and am good with both ,I love to go on walks and  love to cuddle on the- and do on every available occasion.

Hi I'm Furter, a 1yr old male neutered red mini.  I'm in need of some rehabilitation but should come along very well with a home that believes in possitive reinforcement.  I would be ok with older kids that could go slow with me and give me time to love them, once I do I'm full of fun, love and kisses.  I would love a new home that understands the dachshund breed and how to train. update on Furter: I'm doing soooooo much better, I'm loving eveyone, full of kisses , ready to learn how to play and ready for a new home.  I'm getting along well with other foster dogs as well as the foster people.  Can't wait to find a new home and learn the fine arts of being a dog.
