Peanut - ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!

Peanut is a 5-year-old dachshund mix (collie?) and currently weighs about 33 lbs. She was 40 lbs when she came to ADR. She has a lot of energy, loves going for walks, but also thinks she is a lap dog and is more than happy to snuggle!
Peanut loves her squeak tennis balls and playing fetch! She gets along with other dogs but if the excitement elevates, she can get aggressive towards them. Peanut knows how to sit, back up, shake both paws, come, and is not too bad with stay
Peanut will need a home with structure and good boundaries in place. She is a bit of an anxious girl and we think she would do best in a home where she is the only dog and has her person at home with her most days. She won't harm cats, but likes to be the 'boss' of them, so probably a home without cats would suit her best. She is crate trained.

Peanut is on epilepsy meds and will likely need to continue them. They are inexpensive so it is not a huge expense but definitely something an adopting home will need to be aware of.

![Picture](/uploads/1/2/2/1/122157867/published/ellie.jpg?1705507344)
Ellie is a beautiful younger girl at 4 years young with a great personality. She has just started a journey with some back issues and we are watching her closely. Once we know her back is okay, she will visit the vet for a spay and then be ready to be considered by a forever family that can provide the love and care that she requires. Stay tuned!

Flamingo (mingo) - ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
Our boy Mingo is 2.5 years old and quite the nice little guy. We are watching his personality blossom as we get to know him and seeing him come out of his shell is so fun! Mingo gets along with most things and does well with other dogs and cats.
If Mingo loves you, he REALLY loves you! He gets his whole body into yours for snuggles. Mingo is housetrained and pretty easy going. In the past he has bit and we will be looking for a home that can work on his triggers, although small, and show him the ropes. Mingo would be best in a quiet home with no small children. |

Daisy - ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
Our little senior, Daisy, is still looking for her forever home. At ten years golden and weighing in at 7 lbs, this wonderful delight of a girl is a quiet, gentle old soul just needing a quiet and relaxed place to call home.
She would love a quiet household full of snuggles to retire on. This faithful pal will not disappoint as a good buddy. She has had some recent vetting done including a major dental procedure. She has twelve teeth left and doesn't mind at all. With her previous IVDD Injuries she will need a home with a little experience to know how to read her language. She does have some accidents because of it, but will go out the majority of the time. |

Karl - Getting to know him!
Karl is a 2-year-old is a fun loving little guy! Karl seems like a very sociable dog. He always wants to meet and sniff everyone. He's very interested in other breed dogs on walks and so far he has been friendly with all that he has met.
Karl loves pets and scratches behind the ears and loves his tummy rubs. He is fully housetrained! Karl loves going for walks and could live outside. He is very interested in the crows and magpies. If he wasn't on a leash he would give chase, so maybe a little bit of prey drive there. Karl would make a good barn hunter as he loves to sniff things outside a lot. |
