Alberta Dachshund Rescue is committed to assisting Dachshunds in need. Every donation received goes back to the dogs in our care, whether to cover veterinarian or rehabilitation fees, special foods or medicines. We encourage and support adoption from rescues and we thank you for supporting Alberta Dachshund Rescue!
Alberta Dachshund Rescue has never said no to someone who has to surrender their dachshund. We will do our best to support and work with an owner to help them find a way to keep their dog, but when it comes down to the bottom line, we will always take a dog in. ADR has had some tough cases - dogs that were literally on their last legs and with little hope - but with the phenomenal support we receive from supporters of ADR, almost all of our dogs have been able to go on to find their forever homes.

ADR is registered with Skip the Depot!
What is Skip the Depot you ask??? It’s a service in Calgary and Edmonton where you can schedule a free pick up for your empty bottles & cans. The best part? You can donate your bottle refund directly to ADR!!! There is no charge for the pickup. However, they offer slightly lower deposit rates than a bottle depot to offset the costs of the pickup. So, head on over to Skip the Depot and turn your empties into a donation for ADR. How easy is that!!!

ADR QUILT RAFFLE
Congratulations to Tammy Trydal who won the quilt handmade especially for ADR. And congratulations to Lori Smashnuk Leduc, the lucky winner of $1200 from the 50/50!
Thank you to everyone who bought tickets! Together we raised $7,360.00 which will be put towards paying vet bills for dogs surrendered to ADR.
