Donate to help Valerie

To date, Alberta Dachshund Rescue has spent approximately $5000 on Valerie's care. This is not including the donation of medications and tests that ADR received. Parkland Veterinary Clinic and Valerie have become great friends with all the time she has spent there!

Valerie is back up and walking after being paralyzed this last winter. She is not 100%, but this little girl has come so far. She still struggles (or her foster home!) with her incontinence. 

Valerie has a very small bladder with thicker walls causing her to be in diapers even though she is expressed throughout the day. She also has a drawer of washable diapers and uses extra small / small disposable diapers.

Tail Blazers in Spruce Grove has been so helpful in helping search out food that Valerie is not allergic to. We have found that a raw diet helps as she is allergic to so much and that it is an easier way to control her reactions. ​
